Dillon is the spiritual and practical leader of the prisoners. He is the one that discovered religion and converted the others to it. Even though he has a violent past, he sticks to his religon and his promise of celibacy when Ripley arrives, unlike some of his brothers. In fact, he saves Ripley from his followers. After Andrews gets killed, the inmates turn to him, asking for leadership. Dillon refuses, he don't like it in a position of authority. Dillon has a lot of negativity towards Ripley, probably because of her boldness towards him. But when Ripley comes to him, asking Dillon to relieve her from her destiny, he refuses to kill. Dillon is brave and proves this when the Xenomorph kills Kevin. Dillon runs straight up to it and tears the prey from it's jaws and takes it away. And he confront the alien once more when he follows Ripley to the alien. In the end, he sacrifices his life so that the alien could be killed.
