March 16,2002 - Team IMAF had a strong showing at the 2002 Bakbakan Full Contact Stick Fighting tournament in Lodi NJ. The results are as follows:

• Dave Ferreira - Second Place Mens Single Stick
• Ken Gruber - First Place Mens Single Stick
• Dave Ferreira - Second Place - Grappling (lightweight)- no gi.

December 9, 2001 - Team IMAF showed how hard training and conditioning pays off..After competing at the 2001 WEKAF Regional Championships at the Bronx H.S. of Science we posted the following results.

• Dave Ferreira - First Place Mens Single Stick (two fights)
• Dave Ferreira - First Place Mens Double Stick (two fights)
• Ken Gruber - Second Place Mens Single Stick (three fights)
• Ricky DeJacquant - Third Place Mens Single Stick (two fights)
• Zach Borker - First Place Single Stick Childrens Division - (one fight)
• Zach Borker - Fourth Place Childrens Division - Forms
