As markets become increasingly global,the International Certification Network offers an

important advantage to organizations seeking to expand their role on the world’s trade stage.

IQNet is a network of the world’s first class,not profit distributing certification bodies,which

operate in accordance with the IQNet Code of Conduct and Ethics, IQNet Multilateral Agreement

and its internal rules.

Equivalence and confidence are assured by an initial evaluation and periodic assessments of its members to International Standards and Peer Review rules.

IQNet is a netwok of like-minded certification bodies who have every reason to believe that its assessments of management systems enhance business performance and facilitates international trade. It achieves this by:

-closely co-operating with each other to benefit IQNet customers

-collectively improving the service provided

-meeting customer needs by offering a range of services

-assuring world-wide acceptance of the members’ certification whilst preserving "individual identity"

Established in 1990 (as EQNet) , the main aims of IQNet are:

-to recognize and promote management system certificates isued by its members which are active

within all industrial and service sectors

-to co-ordinate the work to be performed for certification of organizations operating in several

countries

As any successful exporting business knows, it is essential to research and satisfy all requirements

of a larger international market. IQNet provides an internationally recognized passport ensuring

global market access . IQNet delivers marketing support to the Certification issued by a

member , by the use of the IQNet mark and the IQNet Registration Document.

Furthermore IQNet, being an international network of certification bodies ,can utilise the local IQNet

member simplifying the certification procedure and reducing costs associated with a global certification program

Approximately 50% of the total number of certificates in the world have been issued by IQNet

member bodies.

Each certificate issued by an IQNet member body is accompanied by an IQNet Registration Document which contains the respective IQNet registration number.

If certification concerns a multinational company with subsidiaries in several countries,the assessments may be carried out by the local IQNet members or by IQNet assessment teams,

made up of representatives of several members.When needed,this work is co-ordinated centrally

by one of the IQNet members

The future development of IQNet is an ongoing process and continues to expand to a wider global network.

Environmental management system and the quality system certifications are being further developed and the volume of the certication activity on the world trade scene is steadily growing.

This brings particular demands for a well balanced development of the members’ capabilities in relation to the market needs.

IQNet is committed to safeguard and develop the quality of assessment work through:

-continuous improvement of members’competence by means of calibration meetings,common

auditing and training
