The site had been designed to conserve bandwidth, not too fancy, photos compressed as much as possible etc.
The target(like a needle in a haystack)was less than 1Mb of server memory and a maximum page(including photos) loading time of 45 seconds per page (during peak traffic hours). Needless to say we are now at a memory capacity of 25MB in order to accomodate site growth in photos and information. I suppose I blew the target, HA!
I have tested it with several browsers and platforms (PC and Mac), looks OK except you may have to be in a high color/hi res setting for best photo viewing.
It is optimized for Netscape Navigator 3.0 or higher.
Photo pages are used, instead of thumbnail links, in order to view the related forms as a group.
Error messages to those links not yet activated have been eliminated thanks to the constructive suggestions of Linda Koestel. The future links are now displayed in drab or black color without the link highlight feature (underlined). Sorry for any frustrations caused by previous error messages. Hopefully these will be full working links soon as the site progresses. Sorry for the snail pace but one must be careful in what one publishes.
