Beer

Some people think we Germans drink one beer after the other throughout the whole day - sometimes I think they're right, at least if I look at the large number of Internet sites of famous German beer breweries. Beer brewing has a long tradition in Germany but we are not the world champions in beer drinking.

There are, of course, not only breweries in Germany, but also in many other places around the world. Some have been founded by Germans (like Anhaeuser-Busch) or are brewing their beer according to German brewing recipes. Here are some breweries from around the world:
