Military and Intelligence Facilities
Note: All this information presented here is
collected from public available sources!
The public available space images especially from
Google Maps and MSN Virtual
Earth are an
interesting source to see things somebody might want to be kept secret for the
public. Fortunately we can now use this opportunity to have a closer
look at them, at least as long as these pictures are accessible.
Let us start with the official government headquarter and with
two more or less well known
US intelligence organizations, the NSA and the CIA:
Intelligence organizations from other countries
-
Secret Intelligence Service (SIS, also known as MI6) - British Secret
Service, Great Britain, London, Vauxhall Cross
-
FSB (former KGB) - Russian Secret Service, Russia, Moscow
-
Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND) - Federal Intelligence Service, Germany,
Pullach near Munich
-
Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz (BfV) - Federal Office for the
Protection of the Constitution, Germany, Cologne
Next are a lot of images from military facilities like Air
Force and Navy bases. Information and exact coordinates for such locations all
over the world but especially in the USA can be found very easily on
GlobalSecurity.org. GlobalSecurity
is a great site if you search for information about military, intelligence and
public security from countries around the world.
Following are
some links to space images of US military installations. Move around in
these images, zoom in and out and get impressive views on military installations
where a search for weapons of mass destruction (WMD) will be much more
successful than in Iraq.
