The Tool Design Option provides a collection of standard mold
bases and component parts based on the D-M-E, Hasco, and Futaba
company-standard catalogs, ready for use in mold assemblies.
Specifically, the mold base library allows designers to:
(1) Use a standardized set of mold base assemblies that are created
exactly to the specifications listed in the Hasco, D-M-E, Futaba,
DMS, and National catalogs
(2) Use naming conventions from the company catalogs so that BOM
information is accurate
(3) Create mold base assemblies that contain layers for view blanking
(4) Create mold base assemblies that can be retrieved with all their
components as simplified versions, providing for faster retrieval
and manipulation of the assemblies
