about this horse:
Many years ago we happened upon an own daughter of Bueno Chex at a small horse
sale in California with a filly by her side out of Pic Remedy, LTE: $50,000. We
purchased the mare as a "kids horse." At the time the value of Bueno Chex mares
in the cutting, reining, and cowhorse industry was not widely known, and little
did we know that this mare and her filly would be the start of a wonderful
cowhorse breeding program!
Chex Sunny Remedy was used on our own
ranch to work cattle, trail ride, and team pen. She is a HUGE stopper and has a
kind disposition we have yet to beat. In her foals she throws that huge BUENO
CHEX stop, cow, athletic ability, and the unbeatable disposition. We couldn't
have asked for more. Below you will find a list of her foals, two of which still
reside at the Rocking 2S Ranch and probably always will. Sunny has been a
very special mare for us and she will be retired here. Over the past few years
we have sought out a couple of mares with very similar breeding and
dispositions... Fairlea Good Lookin &
Pic N Dual.
She is the dam of:

APHA PAC Point earner in English Pleasure,
Western Pleasure, & Competitive Trail; Klamath Basin Horse Assn. Year End Novice
Division Champion All-Around as well as various other awards. This horse is very
cowy and has been used on the ranch, as a stallion he produced a few very nice
foals before being gelded. Still owned by The Rocking 2S Ranch.
This horse went on the be a wonderful
competitive roping horse.
A beautiful mare that has competed and
shown in club cuttings, AQHA Ranch Versatility Competition, and Youth Classes at
local horse shows. Outside of the show pen, she is a reliable hard working ranch
horse and has produced a foal of her own.

The 2005 Oregon National Foundation QHC
Reined Cutting Champion. She has NFQHA points and is still showing under new
ownership. This is the same filly pictured with Chex Sunny Remedy at just a few
days of age.
