The listed subspecies do not all have available photos at the moment, they will
have verified photos if I can find specimens to photograph. Some
may have been synonymized or have become "nomen nudum".

Discussion of the Liguus fasciatus spp.

The fasciatus is widespread throughout the main Island of Cuba, the
offshore keys and Isla de Pinos (the largest offshore key / island south of Cuba).

type locality, holotype or paratype depository and publication of description.

Liguus fasciatus arangoi Jaume 1952 -
Type locality: Hills in front of Playa de Guanabo, Habana Province, Cuba.
Holotype: Collection Jaume MBM No. 24,270.

Type locality: Mogote de Ramon Millo, Pinar del Rio Province, Cuba.
Holotype: Museum of Comparative Zoology (Harvard) MCZ 80,901

Comment: The holotype (MCZ 80,901) is pictured in Abbott's
"Compendium of Landshells". The L.f. archeri shown above are specimens
from the collection at the Harvard Museum of Comparative Zoology.
