mar2GIF.gif (44455 bytes)

This is a sample of the Zoila marginata marginata " Craypot " form,
from a deepwater population off Western Australia. This form was
mentioned [not named] by L. Raybaudi in his series of articles on marginata
in World Shells magazine. The form represents a deepwater population
which is more globose and "humped" than the typical shells
from the population of form "intermedians" or the typical
marginata marginata population found off Perth, Western Australia.
