Population of the
Zoila marginata marginata

mar2GIF.gif (44455 bytes)

This is a sample from the population of  Zoila marginata marginata
found off the Perth area of Western Australia.
It is considered the largest population and the most collected.
The population is highly variable in the dorsal markings, however
the shape is somewhat constant and readily identifiable due to
the elongate "gondola" like outline from a side view.
