The Basics: As a number one rule for new players, take your time in your first game to learn the layout of the arena, places to hide, bases to find, things like that. Do your best to deactivate your opponents bases, and if need be don't hesitate to call for the Game Master's help, it is our job to help new players have the most enjoyable time's of their lives. Also, if you go with friends, stay together. The both of you can score more points by working as a team then as individuals. The biggest challenge in the game comes from the sentinel, which you will hear about in the pre-game briefing given by the Game Master. Since the Sentinel deducts points from your score, new players may want to avoid the Sentinel tower in the middle of the arena. Another good idea is not to fire at your own team, you lose points for it and it can be frustrating for your team mates. Understandably, accidents do happen and you will hit team mates time and again, but don't worry, just keep playing. The rest will come with experience, so keep playing and you could be the next "Zone Ace."
