The descriptions of the four directions are :

Sheng Ch’i - The very best Luo Shu number. It means “Growth Breath”. This number will bring money luck and prosperity. Site your bedrooms, study, living rooms, etc, places where you spent a great deal of time in. So, toilets should never be sited here.

Tien Yi - This means “Heavenly Doctor”. Activate this sector if there isanyone with prolong illnesses. Do this by pointing your cooker with the “incoming power source” to this direction.

Nien Yen - This is loosely translated to mean “Longevity with plentiful descendants”. This should be activated if there are constant bickering among spouses and siblings.

Fu Wei - Nothing spectacular about this sector or direction. It is still a good sector which can be utilised if the other 3 Luo Shu numbers cannot be used.

For completeness, I shall show you your 4 bad directions. Note that you must at all costs avoid these directions.

These are the definitions of the various bad directions.

Huo Hai - This is translated to mean “Accidents and mishaps”. Not the end-of-the-world disaster type though. If you are sleeping with your head pointing in that direction, you could lose a small court case.

Wu Kwei - Means “Five Ghosts”. If your business’ main door is facing this direction, your employees will leave you. You can suppress the bad effects by siting your toilet in this sector.

Liu Sha - ”Six Killings”. Not to be trifled with. Facing this direction can cause severe harm to befall your family. Recommended that toilets be site here to counter the Sha Ch’i.

Chueh Ming - This means “End of Life”. At all costs, never never face your main door in this direction. It can result in death of a family member. It may bring about total bankruptcy. Everything in your life will dissappear from your possesion, including your life.

Application Example

If your KUA number is 5 and you are a male, your auspicious directions will be 8, 7, 6 and 2. The diagram will show your auspicious directions(shaded in pink) in the Luo Shu Grid below.

6

Bedroom (Sleep with your head pointing northwest direction)

1

(North)Toilet (Placing the toilet here at north, which is the very worst direction will suppress the Sha Ch’i)

8

Study (Face your study table in northeast direction)

7

Living Room (While it is good to face westerly, avoid placing your TV along westerly line as the electronic equipment will “absorb” the good Ch’i.

5

3

2

Coffee Room (Sit facing southwest)

9

(South)

Staircase

4

Kitchen (Face the firemouth of your rice cooker in the northeast direction)
