PLUTO

Pluto is a tiny planet and is the ninth planet of the Solar System and was discovered in the 1930 at the farthest reaches of the Sun’s family of planets. Although it is closer to us now than Neptune, it is nearly a thousand times fainter because it is so small. The only reason Pluto looks different from a star is because it moves very slowly across the background stars.

In 1978, Pluto was found to have a moon, called Charon. Pluto does not seem to have any atmosphere. It is very cold, and any gas there would have turned solid. It would be semi dark all the time on the surface and the sun would look like just one of the ordinary stars in the sky.
