21/01/02: New message from ITV:-
"The last three episodes look to have found a home (subject to change so keep
in contact!!!!) late Feb and mid to late April. (one in Feb and the last two
in April, although not consecutively)." - ITV
15/01/02: Mag 7's Nathan Jackson (Actor Rick Worthy) has very kindly answered some questions from the Euro-Posse members. Thank you Rick, your kindness is really appreciated! :-)
16/12/01: This week's episode is 'One Day Out West', so come join the chat, leave your feedback and take the trivia quiz.
10/12/01: Two new M7 petitions have just been started. One is for the DVD/Video release, and the second is for a third series! Please check out the petitions page for more information, and please take a minute to sign them.
09/12/01: Thanks to those who have left their feedback on the Pilot episode so far. The rest of you, you have this week to add your thoughts. I'll be changing the quiz on Sunday too, so that it matches our next episode, 'One Day Out West'. I've added a brand new Guestbook (under Guestbook link, not the Feedback one), which includes the question 'Do you want Season 3?'! Please leave me a comment in it! Also, thanks to Donna's posts to the Official EP mailing list, I've added a TV UK Guide for anything with our guys in (and Laurie)! It will be updated as the information comes! I'll be altering the petition soon too! Thanks!
08/12/01: Don't forget that tomorrow is our first episode review.
This week's episode is the two hour
pilot: 'Ghosts of the Confederacy'. Please go
and add
your thought or read
what other people have said! Thank you! You can also take the trivia
quiz for this episode - just for a laugh!
Next Weeks Episode is: 'One Day Out West'
06/12/01: Ok, here's the information on the European Campaign for video/DVD release:-
On the 7th of EACH month we need to send a
postcard (can be local, picture, whatever) to EACH of the following
people/departments:-
1) Hank Cohen, President of Television
2) MGM Home Entertainment
3) MGM Marketing and Development
Each one is via the same address (but is a different section there):-
MGM
2500 Broadway
Santa Monica,
CA 90404
USA
Remember, do NOT put M7 all over it cause it will get forwarded to Trilogy! Put
Video Request or similar on the top, and mention M7 part way down instead! Ask
for Video AND DVD - mention extras if you can, but stress we'll take it either
way! They could even do them in series - like season one on a single DVD pack,
and series two spilt onto two packs or one! Email me with any questions!
01/12/01: Opps, sorry about the delay in updates but I've been swamped!
So, now I have lots of news! *g* M7 Global Gathering was a HUGE success worldwide, and the
European one in Chester was the BIGGEST with 32 attendees! Yipppeee! We even had
the added bonus specially signed photos for many of the attendees, thanks
to the kindness of Michael Biehn, Eric Close and Anthony Starke - thanks guys! For the
write-up and photos from the Gathering please go to the Global
Gathering website (http://www.oocities.org/globalgathering/).
There is no Global Gathering next year...there
will be in 2003 though, so keep an eye out! For 2002 though we ARE having a
European Gathering! The Euro-Posse
Gathering (EP02) is
going to take place towards the end of 2002 (Oct/Nov) and we are already taking
names of people interested in attending...which at the moment includes over
forty-five people from Australia, America and Europe! We may limit
attendee numbers to around fifty (still discussing this within the EP02
committee) so if you think you would like to come, please let me
(Helen B - helb@farmers85.freeserve.co.uk)
know ASAP!
We'll be emailing people on the 'interested' list directly when we have final
dates and costs (expected mid-late January) and registrations will be available
properly then! After those people have had a chance to sign up, we'll be posting
info on the gathering to the official
site (http://www.oocities.org/epgathering/).
Please note that the Gatherings are run BY fans FOR fans and NO profit is made!
All costs go into the gathering weekend and any profit is donated to charity! If
you want to come, PLEASE do so....we had a blast this year...and next year looks
even bigger! Don't take my word for it though...go read the accounts on the
Global Gathering site!
Latest news from ITV isn't too encouraging I'm
afraid...looks like we're probably off the air til after Christmas :-( Here's
what our nice ITV man, Paul, had to say:-
"Sorry, but nothing
is showing in the schedules at this moment in time, although everyone is frantic
putting together Christmas schedules." - ITV
We're putting together
a map of the
Euro-Posse members! Well, that's how it started but now it's become a map of
all European fans, and even some in America and Australia. The idea was to let
everyone find out about the widespread community of M7 fans, and to see if there
are others in their area! The maps take you to individual countries and gives a
few lines of information about each fan in each specific area! Why not check it
out, and better still, add yourself to the map by emailing me! Come on....we
don't bit, we're a very friendly lot actually! Take a look....http://www.oocities.org/epgathering/epmap/mapworld.html!
There's a NEW EUROPEAN FAN CAMPAIGN! Ok, well we may have M7 on most of our TV screens now (of sporadically) BUT is that good enough? Of course not! We're starting a new campaign to try and get the show (series one and two) put onto DVD or Video over here! I know they released the pilot in the USA on NTSC video - but that's no where near good enough...we want PAL videos of all of the eps and DVDs of the show with, if possible, lots of extras! We're going to be kicking off the campaign next week (and it will run every month) so check back here in a couple of days (before the 7th) for the final news on what's happening and how!!
Our friends at Trilogy Entertainment know we love the show, and they're not behind the video production, so we're not going to be bombarding them in our campaign! BUT we're going to set up a page for you to post your thoughts on the show, and particularly on the desire to get it on video/DVD. So check back in a couple of days for that, and sign up too!
06/10/01: New message from ITV:-
"barring any unforeseen events...then our next scheduled episode is on the 14th October at 15.45 and is entitled 'Chinatown'." - ITV
12/09/01: ITV have kindly sent the following message about the airing of M7 in the UK. They have said that they will try to stay in contact to let us know schedule details, so I will be posting their responses both here and on the main EP mailing list!
"The next episode scheduled is 'Achilles' at 14.55 on 16th September. It does follow the GP (Grand Prix) again, so it is subject to change. Fingers crossed though! Another problem that we encounter is that it does fall into regional airtime, and only Anglia, Border, Granada, LWT, Tyne Tees and Yorkshire run with the network schedule. Any fans in any other areas will have to liase with their local ITV company in order to keep advised of scheduling intentions." - ITV
Of course, if people in the other regions email me, I will place that information here too! Thanks
11/09/01: Sad News! Some of our sister groups in the USA seem to have lost members in the dreadful attack on the WTC and Pentagon today! The Global Gathering organisation have decided to collect donations during the event, for the American Red Cross. This is by choice, and there is no minimum amount! I am opening this up to the other European fans. If you wish to donate something and are not attending the event itself, please contact me (HelB) for more information.
20/08/01: Global Gathering UK now has over 30 attendees! We're set for a full weekend of fun so if you haven't signed up and still want to join us, please do! Contact me (HelB) for more details.
22/02/01: ITV is on a brief break from Mag 7 - but only brief! 'Working Girls' ep is due to be shown on March 4th and according to ITV themselves, the series is due to "return once again on a weekly basis as from the 18th March". Annoying I know, but don't panic folks - it's still running! :-). Thanks to Donna and Do for the heads-up!
Mike's movie 'Cherry Falls' was released in the UK on 19th February - DVD to buy, VHS I think only to rent! Check it out. Also don't forget that Eric's show, Now and Again, is running on both the Sci-Fi channel and ITV (Tuesday nights 23:30)
