Chris and Vin meet when they go to help stop the lynching of a man, Nathan. With their activities overseen, they are hired by an Indian village to help fight a Confederate General and his renegade soldiers, 'The Ghosts of the Confederacy'. They are given $35, just enough to hire 5 more men at a poor $5 each. Rounding up old friends, and new ones, they create the 'seven' and head off to fight......but the odds are seriously stacked against them!
