Responsibilities

                All school-student regulations and parental responsibilities outlined in the Taravella HS Handbook & Code of Conduct Book will be enforced. These are non-negotiable! Ignorance of these policies is never accepted!

 Respect

                At all times you will be respectful to all persons. Each person possesses dignity and is worthy of respect. Offensive language and gestures of any form of insolence will not be tolerated. Courtesy and cooperation rooted in students should be the norm of our behavior.

Attendance

                Be present if you plan to succeed. You must secure at least three phone numbers of classmates to keep abreast of the assigned work to meet deadlines. TARDINESS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Arrive on time and be ready to work to avoid detention. DO NOT ask to be excused to run an errand, see an Administrator, or a coach etc.

Quiet

                Quietly enter the room. You will be seated and ready to work when the teacher closes the door. Arrive prepared with all required materials. You will not be permitted to retrieve forgotten items. During class it is imperative that you are ALERT, ATTENTIVE, AND PARTICIPATORY. You must raise your hand to ask questions or to pass comments. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. The classroom is your learning center, not a social hangout.
