Skanderborg, DK to Copenhagen, DK - 01/00. 2 days, with an overnight stop in Odense. Long wait after Odense. 4. Copenhagen, DK to Hamburg, D - 01/00. 12 hours, with a one-hour coffee and cake break with a Danish girl and her grandmother. 5. Karlsruhe, D to Lausanne, CH - 03/00. Return in one day, about 5 hours each way. The hitch-hiking race that never was. 6. Flims, CH to Lausanne, CH - 03/00. ~8 hours. 7. Frankfurt, D to Hamburg, D - 04/00. ~4 hours. Two weeks of travel begin! Only time ever asked for money. Didn't pay. 8. Rostock, D to Nybro, S - 04/00. ~12 hours. The first ride was found on the ferry from Rostock to Trelleborg. 9. Kalmar, S to Stockholm, S - 04/00. ~8 hours. Long waits. 10. Stockholm, S to Amsterdam, NL - 04/00. 5 days, with overnight stops in Göteborg, Friedrickhavn, Hamburg, and Groningen, and a brief stop in Bremen. 11. Amsterdam, NL to Karlsruhe, D - 04/00. ~7 hours. The end of the two weeks. 12. Heidelberg, D to Hamburg, D - 06/00. 2 days return. The trip to see The Tragically Hip; with a friend. 13.
