It was a cold and windy Saturday, 12th of January 2001. We worked in teams of 1-3 pupils, assisted by parents. We tried to ask altogether more than 500 people in the streets about their knowledge of foreign languages.
Some people did not wish to speak to us at all, 388 answered our questions. This work was not very easy. It was however exciting to feel that we are doing this survey together with our friends in Nurenberg and Zadar, at the same time in the three towns.Language | Basic | Intermediate | Advanced | Total |
