Here is the latest happenings in the EES.

Ronaldo Going Italian?
Barcelona winger Cristiano Ronaldo, has been the latest player linked with a move around the EES. Liverpool emerged with a weak £26,000,000 offer for the player, before an unlikely suspect in Tottenham stepped in with a stronger £40,000,000 offer but were outbidded by Turin giants Juventus who currently arn't short of money in the EES. Ronaldo has already had short stints with AC Milan and Manchester United in the EES, and failed to impress at either, and seems to have not lived up to the £70,000,000 offer from AC Milan in the early days of last season, but has stood out once or twice.

Barca Chairman Juan Laporta, has insisted the player wont leave the ckub, unless the fee they recieve suits manager Frank Rijkaard and the club. Laporta also hinted that Juventus will be the only club that Ronaldo would sign for out of the 3 parties insearch of the Portuguese youngsters signature.

"Juventus have offered for one of our key players, as have 2 other sides." Laporta spoke in a Barcelona Press conference.

"Ronaldo is happy here but would love a return to one of his previous clubs, if any at all in the EES. He signed a 2 year deal when he joined and we'd love to keep him here but if the offer that comes our way suits all areas involved we may have to part with the winger."

PSV Hunt Trio
Dutch side PSV Eindhoven look to sign the 3 players who spent season one on loan at the club. The now Play Off winners look to sign Wes Brown and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer from Manchester United, aswel as a dutch legend in Dennis Bergkamp. PSV have offered an undisclosed fee for the 3 players who all played a vital part in the clubs success of gaining promotion to the Premiership, and manager Guus Hiddink has said he will stop at nothing to get the players.

Hiddink:- "The club have been generous in the budget I have been issued, I look forward to signing players with Premiership experience. I have a few players in mind, and I have scouts around looking closely at tallent but would love it if those 3 players stayed on at PSV on a permanent basis. They bonded in well at the club in their time here and thanks to them we gained Premiership status."

PSV's first game is a trip to Premiership champions Bayern Munich, which could be an Oman for Dennis Bergkamp whichever side he is on.

Reyes Race
Jose Antonio Reyes could be on his way out of Highbury. The Spanish youngster has been linked with numerous clubs around EES. Juventus, Tottenham and Liverpool all persue the Arsenal and Spanish ace. Reyes wasn't short of football at Arsenal last season, a vital figure down the left flank, but Reyes has admitted he'd much rather play up front instead of wide.

Reyes:- "I am a natural striker, but can also play left wing. I do prefer being at the spearhead of the attacks where I can use my pace to get in behind players, but last year it was hard as we had Henry, Makaay up front, and now it will be harder since the arrivals of both Robbie Keane and Ruud van Nistelrooy who are both fantastic goal scorers. I would move if I would be an attacking option instead of the wide man."

Juventus currently lead the race with a £40,000,000 bid tabled and are yet to recieve a verdict, Tottenham have also claimed they may persue with another bid, but we'll wait and see.

Saha "We Can Do It!"
PSV striker Louis Saha, has made it clear that PSV Eindhoven are no push overs in the Premiership. The Dutch side defined all the odds and clinched the final Premiership spot with 2 victories in the Play-Offs, one of which over favourites Newcastle. Saha netted a 69th minute penalty in the all important final and says if the club perform with the same consistency newxt season of that they showed in the Play-Off final then they're certain to do well.

Saha:- "We were never favourites to get a play off place, but we proved that in football anything can happen, and we played better than most teams put up against us. In the Play-Offs no side could match us for determination and team spirit, we netted 8 goals in the Play-Offs over both games, so we proved we can score goals and that we can challenge for something this season. I feel I am at the peak of my form, and that I will cut it out in the big league."

Saha has a little Premiership experience already with a short stint at Manchester United, aswel do the club. Facing both Chelsea, Arsenal and Bayern Munich in a very hectic cup run.
