Remember that, as per the railroads' policies, rail passes are not refundable nor replaceable if lost or stolen.

In consideration of this strict policy, this Pass Protection Plan will compensate you for the unused portion of the pass if lost or stolen.

Pass Protection Claims

To qualify for reimbursement, just purchase a replacement rail pass or ticket and complete rail travel. A police report must be filed. The procedure and conditions for obtaining reimbursement are listed in a flyer accompanying the pass.

Reimbursement is based on the unused value of the pass. The Pass Protection Plan does not cover journey trains such as Eurostar and Thalys, or point-to-point tickets, reservations, couchettes or sleepers.

The Pass Protection Plan is neither refundable nor exchangeable.
