Ok, here's a deck that I'll never build, but once the title occurred to me, I just had to put together a decklist -) Most of this should be obvious, but anyway. The intent: get out Aurra Sing and kill things. Against a Jedi, DotF Aurra is 9+? anywhere when using her saber or gun, whether fighting or dueling. There are 4 Change in Tactics which have two useful effects: switching destinies to help you win fights and removing hits to help you win duels. Sidious is in here mainly for two reasons: he can use The Duel Begins, and he shields Aurra from duels. He's the reason for the sith sabers: he gets +2 from it, thanx to his game text. He also has the right bonus for helping you win Naboo. Blue dot: these tanks get a bonus at Theed Palace. 95% of the decks I've played against lately have used Theed Palace. That makes the tanks 6 power on Naboo.and they can use Aurra's gun. They're 5 destiny, helping you outdraw your opponent. Green dot: 6 destiny, low damage. Need I say more: Yellow: The Duel Begins and Opees are obvious the Change in Tactics help make up for the Aurras, weapons, and transports, while helping you duel better. Orange: Aurra is the reason for the deck, so the weapons are stacked up for her use. Here's where the downloading power of the deck kicks in. There are 13 cards with 1 or 2 destiny in the deck.but up to 8 of them can be deployed directly from the draw deck. (5 guns by the enhanced Aurras, and 3 sabers with the 3 Duel Begins) Hopefully this should minimize the impact of the low destinies, while taking advantage of the power of those cards. Purple: DS only has 1 6-power transport that I know of, and I didn't want too many of a unique, so I put in a couple 5-power ones. I HATE 5-power transports.my experience is that they get shot down twice as often as 6-power ones. Theed Palace is obvious the other two sites are chosen based on where the LS is less likely to have bonuses. If possible, start on Tatooine so the LS can't use Anakin's +3 unless they manage to convert the site. Chances are you're going to lose Coruscant, but if you can choose the site you might have a chance. 19 of your characters get a bonus at Theed Palace, with their powers there ranging from 6 (without weapon) to 8+?. It'll lose to Panaka there, but I think it'll defeat other decks. I wonder if there's anyone crazy enough (and with enough Aurras) to try this.. With the requirement for 5 enhanced Aurras, I seriously doubt it'll be me! -)
