Thoughts on DCon, YK and DoTF

Greetings All!

Finally I've come around to send a report from Sweden about my thoughts on
DCon, YK and DoTF.

DCon: This was really a great adventure for me. I had so much fun. It was
really great to finally be getting faces on all those people I've only
heard about, or read emails from on this list. Sorry I wasn't able to play
against all of you. You really helped making the experience even greater. I
hope to be able to qualify for next years DCon, but just in case, I'll
start saving money as soon as I've paid off the bank loan I had to take for
this US trip ;) If anyone of you ever plan on going to Sweden, let me know
and I'll arrange something special (and that goes for the JCMs of Europe as
well).

JK: I love the pictures on the website. I really look forward to finally
see all the cards and try to play it as well. I'm on a SWCCG mailing list
here in Sweden and a lot of those players are expression negative thoughts
on the images and it seems a lot of them have already made their minds up
that JK is no good. But since they also expressed thoughts about YJ, that
it was childish etc, I've written a message in that debate as well saying
that no matter what SW related CCG you play, since most likely you play any
of those games because your love for SW, it can only help the playing
environment with this game. I mean if you play YJ and want something more
complex, OK, try out JK. If that's not complex enough, hey, try out SWCCG.
Or the other way around. Ones again, I'm really looking forward to JK.

DoTF: I saw the sheets at DCon and I can only say: I WANT THIS EXPANSION
NOW! Release date?? Kevin, Kyle:Will we get our boxes prior to the release
as you did with DSII to the Squadron Members. This expansion will be so
good for the game. My only fear right now is that the greatness of this
expansion and its importance to the YJ game, will be overshadowed by JK.
Have this fear popped up in anyone elses mind?

OK, this is a bit out off SW Topic, but another great thing I brought back
from DCon was the Tribbles 4 player game. We played it and we love it! I've
even startet thinking about buying TwT boosters just to get more cool
Tribbles cards :)

Once again, thanks to everyone of you that I met/played against at
DecipherCon in Florida. You're truly a great bunch of people and I hope
I'll meet some of you soon again.
