The nearest airport to kalymnos is Kos . Direct charter flights are available to kos from most European countries.

From the airport, a 10 minute journey by taxi takes you to the port of Mastihari ,

where local ferries to kalymnos depart three times a day.

The crossing to the port of Pothia takes 45 minutes.

Larger ferries to kalymnos leave Piraeus , the port of Athens , twice a day.
