"Little Hannah Hoopenheimer"

One day as little Hannah Hoopenheimer was going out to play, she spotted a pretty lemon-colored dog with marshmallow shaped spots sitting in her back yard. Now if you happen to know little Hannah Hoopenheimer, then you know that she loves dogs. Lemon-colored yellow is also her favorite color in the whole wide world! So little Hannah marches right up to the tiny yellow dog and ask if he would like to play fetch. Now we all know that dogs can't speak English. But he did answer Hannah by wagging his tail. That's all Hannah needed to know. She thought she would toss him a bone, but they both found that pretty boring. Next, Hannah decided it would be easier to play and go on adventures if she gave the dog a name. Now what do you suppose she named the dog? Well Hannah thought and thought but she just couldn't decide on a name. I could call you Spot but that name is used a lot! Or I could call you Butch but you really don't look like a Butch. Then Hannah turned to see what the dog was jumping in. It was her yellow hula-hoop her Dad had bought her for her birthday."That's it!" she yelled. "I will name you Little Loopy Lemon!" Now you and I might think that this is a bit strange, but not if you know little Hannah Hoopenheimer. For she loves lemons, the color yellow, and hula-hoops! Come here, Little Loopy Lemon, she called. He ran right up to her and began licking her chubby little cheeks. They were all set now to go out on their big adventure in the back yard. What kind of adventure could a little girl and her tiny dog have in just the back yard? Well just any ordinary little girl and tiny dog might not have a lot to adventure in their back yard. But we were talking about Hannah Hoopenheimer and Little Loopy Lemon! So you see things like little red wagons to you and I, were big red fire engines with ladders on the side to little Hannah Hoopenheimer! The swings were really vines hanging down from super gigantic jungle trees. Her tricycle wasn't even a tricycle it was a super- duper rolling land explorer! The baby pool sitting in the corner of the yard was actually a swamp where all the hungry alligators live. The picnic table was a landind strip for all the alien moon creatures. But last of all her favorite lemon-yellow hula-hoop was a time machine to take her to different places when she got inside it! Where would Hannah and Loopy's first adventure be? Hannah ran over to the big red fire engine/wagon and put her trusty partner Loopy Lemon inside.'Off to the fire Loopy " she yelled, as she ran pushing the fire engine through the yard.Loopy Lemon barked and wagged his tail as the excitement of the wagon ride rolled through the yard.Hannah pushed Loopy Lemon thriugh the jungle trees, past the alien landing strip, right up next to the privacy fence on the back side of the lawn."We made it" yelled Hannah to her trusty partner Loopy Lemon. Now quick Loopy Lemon lets get the ladder up to the fire!! Hannah got Loopy Lemon out of the wagon and pretended to climb up to the top of the fence. Loopy Lemon just stood there barking and wagging his tail.He really seemed to be helping Hannah with her fire truck details. Well the fire is all out now said Hannah to her trusty partner Loopy Lemon. We can go back to the fire station now.But we have to be very careful Loopy Lemon because the bridge we came across is closed. So we will just have to go back in a different direction.Loopy just sit there with his tongue hanging out waiting with excitement for the next adventure to start. Hannah told Loopy Lemon that as soon as her nap time was over they would bring the fire engine back to the station right past the alligator swamp. But first she had to go inside and take her nap. So she patted Little Loopy Lemon on the head and went inside her house for nap time.

THE END.
