The Angels

Adam	The first angel and main cause of the second impact. Adam suddenly appeared in Antarctica and exploded without warning, causing half the human race to die out. hat was according to records. The truth behind the second impact is that the crew led by Misato's father made the angel explode. Misato is the only survivor of the second impact that actually saw it. Now, all the angels must merge with Adam for the third impact to occur, which will kill the human race completely.

Adam

The Second Angel. Lilith is stored in a chamber underneath Central Dogma. She is pinned up to a cross that has its base covered in LCL. Through her chest is the Lance of Longinis. How Lilith actually got to NERV Japan is a mystery, and it is unknown how she died. Lilith is the source of all life.	Lilith

Sachiel	The Third Angel. It appeared in Tokyo 3 fifteen years after the second impact. The UN sent several tanks, missiles and other types of warfare against the angel with no avail. The angel's AT field deflected everything that was sent after it. Finally, Evangelion Unit 01 was sent up to the surface, and battled the angel. The pilot, Shinji, was knocked unconsious, but then the Eva went Berserker, and easily fought off the angel. In a last ditch effort, the angel latched onto the Evangelion Unit and tried to destroy it by self destructing. It did not succeed.

Sachiel

Evangelion Unit 01 was once again deployed to fight off this angel. After attempting to attack the angel, two tentacles went right through his Eva and severed the power cord, giving Shinji 5 minutes with power. Shinji felt the pain due to nerve connections with the Eva. He made his Eva grab onto one of the tentacles and drew his Progressive Knife. He quickly drove the knife into the angel's core, killing it in a matter of seconds.	Shamshel

The reason for the angel's appearance was because of the embryo of Adam that Kaji had with him. Usually, Evangelion Units do not work underwater, but with the combined sync ratios of both Shinji and Asuka inside Eva Unit 02, the Eva worked underwater. After some getting used to moving around underwater, the Eva managed to break past the Angel's AT field to let two ships filled with explosives to enter the mouth of the Angel. Both of the ships exploded simultaneously, and Gaghiel was destroyed.	Gaghiel

Asuka decided to show Shinji how much better of a pilot she was, and ran up to the angel and slashed down with a spear-like object. The angel appeared as if it was cut in half. Matarael	The Ninth Angel. After it appeared, it slowly begain walking towards Central Dogma. Then, out of an eye on the bottom of it's base, it began secreting acids that made short work of the armor platings above Central Dogma. It just continued to spill acid down this hole, slowly burning it's way through more and more armor plating. Finally, a strategy was developed that involved Eva Unit 00 to hold its back up to the acid, and Eva Unit 01 to shoot at the angel with a high powered machine gun. Asuka and Eva Unit 02 were there to backup the other Evangelions. This plan succeeded, and the only harm that was done was damage to Unit 00's armor.

Matarael

The Ninth Angel. After it appeared, it slowly begain walking towards Central Dogma. Then, out of an eye on the bottom of it's base, it began secreting acids that made short work of the armor platings above Central Dogma. It just continued to spill acid down this hole, slowly burning it's way through more and more armor plating. Iruel	The Eleventh Angel. It is thought that since the Angels could not successfully get into NERV, or even get past the Evangelions, Iruel was created. Iruel was essentually a computer virus whos main objective was to make its way into and disable the three Magi Super Computers. The angel was succeeding in it's task, but NERV was quickly onto it. With the help of Ritsuko and her fast typing skills, the angel was vanquished from the computer system by something like an Anti Virus that Ritsuko put into the Magi system.

By going inside an Eva, Bardiel managed to sieze complete control of the Evangelion. Bardiel made quick work of Eva Unit 00, and was slowly walking towards Tokyo 3 when Shinji came across it. Shinji, despite his father's orders, refused to fight the Angel for fear of killing the pilot of the Evangelion. Finally, Gendou had the control of the Eva switched to the Dummy Plug, which made Evangelion Unit 01 go berserker. After that point, Eva Unit 01 quickly mangled Evangelion Unit 03, severely injuring its pilot.

The Angel was quickly tearing its way down to Central Dogma when Eva Unit 01 was sent after it. After losing its arm, Eva Unit 01 went berserker, and made short work of Zeruel. The Eva ripped one fo Zeruel's arms off, and grew a new arm with it. After the Angel was barely moving, Evangelion Unit 01 began eating the angel. Shinji and his Eva were sent down after Tabris, but Shinji didn't want to kill him because he had befriended him earlier. Both Tabris and Shinji met in a long tube leading down to where Adam was. When they finally reached the storing chamber, Tabris realized that what the Angels all thought was Adam was actually Lilith. After talking with Lilith and getting no answer, he told Shinji to kill him, because what he was trying to do was not possible if Adam did not exsist. After a 60 second pause, Shinji squeezed and killed Tabris/Koaru.
