The Evangelion Units

Evangelion Unit 00
	Evangelion Unit 00 is the first Eva in the series, and it is a prototype. Rei Ayanami pilots Eva Unit 00. Not too much is known about the secrets of this Eva Unit, nor were very many secrets about it even mentioned. The mystery behind it is why does it keep going crazy during each test? Is it because it wants to kill Rei?

Evangelion Unit 01
	Evangelion Unit 01 is the second Eva in the series. This Unit is perhaps the most interesting as well as strange units in the series. Back when Unit 01 was created, the creator, Yui Ikari, wanted to test it. Unfortunately however, while the test was going on, Yui disappeared while inside the Eva. It was thought that she just died, but in the series when the fourteenth Angel was attacking, Shinji too disappeared while inside the Eva. He did return however, and then it was known that Yui was actually still inside the Eva.

Evangelion Unit 01

Evangelion Unit 01 is the second Eva in the series. This Unit is perhaps the most interesting as well as strange units in the series. Back when Unit 01 was created, the creator, Yui Ikari, wanted to test it. Unfortunately however, while the test was going on, Yui disappeared while inside the Eva. It was thought that she just died, but in the series when the fourteenth Angel was attacking, Shinji too disappeared while inside the Eva. He did return however, and then it was known that Yui was actually still inside the Eva.

Evangelion Unit 02
	Evangelion Unit 02 is the third Eva in the series. The pilot of this Unit is Asuka Langley Sohryu. When Asuka is introduced into the series, so is her Evangelion Unit, as well as the sixth angel, Gaghiel. This Eva is what destroyed that Angel as well. This Unit is used several times throughout the series, but when Asuka is personally attacked by the fifteenth angel, she cannot pilot it anymore. The Evangelion is then used in the 25th episode as Tabris's "weapon."

Evangelion Unit 02

Evangelion Unit 02 is the third Eva in the series. The pilot of this Unit is Asuka Langley Sohryu. When Asuka is introduced into the series, so is her Evangelion Unit, as well as the sixth angel, Gaghiel. This Eva is what destroyed that Angel as well. This Unit is used several times throughout the series, but when Asuka is personally attacked by the fifteenth angel, she cannot pilot it anymore. The Evangelion is then used in the 25th episode as Tabris's "weapon."

Evangelion Unit 03
	Evangelion Unit 03 was involved in the most despressing part of the series. Its pilot is Touji Suzuhara. This Evangelion was on its way towards Tokyo 3 when it passed through a cloud which sent a small electrical shock through the Eva. This brought the Eva under the control of Bardiel, the thirteenth angel. Shinji is ordered to fight it, but he refuses, and control of his Eva is switched to the dummy plug system, which makes Eva Unit 01 go berserker. This causes Unit 01 to rip apart Eva Unit 03, badly injuring the pilot.

Evangelion Unit 03

Evangelion Unit 03 was involved in the most despressing part of the series. Its pilot is Touji Suzuhara. Evangelion Unit 04
	Evangelion Unit 04 was going to be piloted by Koaru Nagisa, but this Eva was destroyed by a large explosion in a United States NERV branch when it was being built. GAINAX has fortunately realeased a few pictures of the Evangelion Unit that never was.

Evangelion Units 05-13
	These Evangelions are the mass produced models numbered from five to thirteen. They do not appear in the series, but are seen throughout the movie as what SEELE put out to destroy NERV. All of these Evangelions have an S2 organ, which enables them to operate without a direct power source. Also, they all have wings, enabling them to fly.
