Sohryu, Asuka Langley



The Second Child. Asuka was involved in the struggle against the angels before Shinji was, but it is not known how much longer. She pilots Evangelion Unit 02. Shinji meets her when he goes onto a boat that is carrying Eva Unit 02. Unfortunately, an angel attacks the boat, and both Asuka and Shinji must fight it. they succeed, and Eva Unit 2 makes it safely to Tokyo 3. Asuka seems Mostly mentally stable, but after a run-in with the fifteenth angel, Asuka's brain waves are fed off of, and she becomes quite insane.
