Katsuragi, Misato
Misato is the director of NERV. She met Shinji after picking him up off the streets
of Tokyo, where the third angel was causing harm. She, along with Gendou, managed to convince Shinji into piloting Evangelion Unit 01.
After realizing that Shinji did not have a place to call home, Misato quickly arranged for her to be the caretaker for Shinji. Misato has
a pet penguin, named Pen-Pen. Misato starts off every day right with a nice can of beer, and sometimes two.
