Akagi, Ritsuko



Ritsuko is a technician for NERV Japan. She works mainly with computers, and helps out the other technicians. She is also involved in the Dummy Plug and the Evangelion projects. Ritsuko stays sane during all the events in the series, where evreyone else does not, but one of her cats die late in the series, and she becomes mentally unstable. Because of this, she completely destroys the dummy plug system and shows Shinji some things that he should not have seen. Ritsuko loves Gendou, but does not figure out that he does not have the same feelings for her until close to the last episode, where she finds that he only loves Yui.
