Mezzo soprano Eve Orenstein received her Bachelor’s of Music Degree from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and her Master’s of Music Degree from Manhattan School of Music.  She has studied at the Dublin College of Music in Ireland and the International Institute of Vocal Arts in Italy.  Eve recently participated in Dicapo Opera Theatre’s Young Artist Program and has performed in the Theatre’s productions of Rigoletto as Giovanna and L’Amico Fritz as Catarina.  This fall Eve appeared as Filipyevna in Liederkranz Opera Theatre’s production of Eugene Onegein.  The daughter of a composer, Eve is dedicated to performing contemporary repertoire.  She has appeared in the New York premieres of excerpts from A Death in the Family as Aunt Hannah, and as Katja in The Singing Violin.  Other performances include Lucy in The Beggar’s Opera, Ora in Cavalli’s Egisto, as well as many concerts and song recitals in New York and New Jersey.
