"So what is something about Hayden that would suprise people?" She asked with a playful gleam in her eyes. "Well, ummm, let me think. Oh I know. When we were in school, he hated his name. The thing is you can't really shorten 'Hayden', so everyone called him Chris, because of his last name." I said. I had forgotten about that up until now. Little things like that you try to forget when you are trying to forget the person all together. "Are you serious?" "Yep, he hated it because it was so uncommon. But once he got older and wanted to get into acting he started going by Hayden again. He didn't want to be one of the many faceless Chris' in Hollywood." "That is too much." Natalie said as we laughed together. It felt good to be able to talk to another woman that I didn't work with, or that wasn't a nurse. Just then there was a light knock on the door, then Hayden stuck his head in. After seeing us, he walked in and stud behind me gently massaging my shoulders. I about fell back in my chair. George was right! When they aged him, they did a really good job. He looked about 5 years older and very handsome. Then to top it all off he was wearing one of those leather Jedi suits with the robe over it. I could feel my heart beat increasing by the second. It felt like it was going to jump out of my chest. "You alright, you got really tense all of a sudden. Were the two of you talking about something that I shouldn't be hearing?" He asked suspiciously looking back and forth between Natalie and I. "No, I just can't believe how good you look!" I said as I stud up with some help from him. He placed his hands on my hips. "I need to go change out of this dress, and it looks like you two could use a couple minutes to yourself. I'll be back in 15 minutes." She said as she winked at me, then headed back to what I guessed was her room. "So I'm good looking, huh?" Hayden asked as he lowered his head down till our forheads rested against each other. "You've always been good looking, babe. But damn, you about knocked my socks off." I said with a light laugh. Hayden laughed as well and then lowered his head even farther and started to kiss the hollow of my neck. He knew that I couldn't take it when he did that. "Thank you." he said between kisses. He slowly made his way up to my lips. I raised my arms up and wrapped them around his neck pulling him closer to me. "Hayden, honey. We shouldn't be doing this here. We are in Natalie's house, this is very rude." I said in between breathes I had to take from our passionate kiss. "All we are doing is kissing. But your right," he said as he pulled away. We remained in each others arms. "I don't want to start something that we both know we can't finish. Hell, we've only just been back together for about a week. Kissing is about as far as we can go right now. Not until the babies are here, and not until we are both ready." He said as he rested his head on my shoulder. Suddenly one of the babies kicked. Hayden stepped back laughing, rubbing his stomach where the baby had kicked him. "Now that little one is going to be one hell of a football player." He said as he rested his hand on my stomach, moving it in small circles. "What if that isn't Aiden? What if it was Maddy?" I asked. "Well then maybe she will do ballet. Which ever one it is, they have some strong legs." He said. Shortly after, Natalie came back out and we talked a little while longer. After we finished, Hayden and I headed to our villa. It was very much like Natalies, but instead of the colors Crimson, black and white in the living room and the rest of the house, we had a beautiful lime green color, with black and white accents through-out the house. It was very nice, the whole house was beautiful. Give it about 2 weeks, though, and there would be signs of the babies everywhere. |
