| When I woke up I was still on the couch with Hayden who was sleeping on his side behind me. As I looked up I say Natalie. She had grabbed a blanket and was laying it over Hayden and I. "Oh, I didn't mean to wake you." She said. When she looked down at me and saw that I was awake she jumped. "It's ok, actually I am glad that you did I left the food cooking. It would be just great if I burnt down the house." I said as I went to get up, but Natalie motioned for me to lay back down. "Already took care of it. When I came over the door was opened with the screen door shut, and I smelled the food cooking. I couldn't hear anyone and when I looked over I saw the two of you asleep so I let myself in, turned the food off and found a blanket. I kope you don't mind me just walking in?" She asked as she got an appoligetic look on her face. "Of course not, thanks. What time is it?" I asked. I felt so stupid for leaving the food cooking. It was getting pretty dark by now so I figured it was late in the evening. "It is 6:25." Natalie said just as Hayden started to mumble something in his sleep. He tightened his grip on me and pulled me back down towards him. Natalie and I both started laughing. "You two are so cute. You are very lucky. I hope I find someone that will treat me like Hayden treats you." "Yea, he sure is great. Hayden wake up. Come on babe, wake up." I said as I lightly shook him. "Five more minutes." He mumbled as he turned over and pulled the covers up over his head. "Oh well. That is one thing about him, he is harder then hell to wake up. I'll just start dinner back up and wake him up when it is ready. You are going to stay for dinner aren't you?" I asked. It had kind of become a thing for the three of us to have dinner together. There was only about two days that we hadn't had dinner together. Some of the cast had even ate with us. Ewan, George, Sam, some of the hair and make-up artists. I had become the cook of the group. I felt bad for just being here when I didn't have a job to do like evryone else did, so I would make cookies and cakes and things like that and bring them to the set, or everyone would come back to the house and we would all sit around telling stories. Everyone was so nice. I really loved it here. "Yea, I'll stay and help out." Natalie said as we both got up and walked into the kitchen. ~~~~~1 hour later~~~~~ Natalie, Hayden and I were sitting in the living room, when I got up to go to the bathroom. All of a sudden a really sharp pain shot through my pelvis, followed by another. "Umm guys, I think we need to call the doctor." I said. Hayden and Natalie stopped talking and looked over at me with shocked expressions. Then they both, at the same time, jumped up. Hayden ran over to me and Natalie grabbed the phone and called the doctor. With Hayden's help I got over to the couch and layed down, but that was really uncomfortable so I had to sit up. The doctor soon came over and checked me out. "We need to get you to the hospital. It is only about 5-10 minutes away." She said as she called the hospital to tell them to expect us and get the OR ready. After hearing that I started to freak out. "I thought we could deliver them here? Why do we need the OR?" I asked as I looked from the doctor to Hayden. He squeezed my hand for reassurance but looked terrified. "The first baby is breached and the umbilical cord might be wrapped around it's neck cutting off it's air supply." |
