Rules For
Spades League
Teams who have already signed up must play their designated matches on or before the designated date and time.
Teams have the option if all parties are in agreement to play before "League Night". If after 10 minutes of official
start time a team is missing the team that is present will receive 10 points by default. One registered team member
must present at each match per week, and substitutions are permitted for the other member not present. On
League Night or before each Team will be expected to play their opponents in 3 games in accordance to the following
format: Each game will be played to 500 points . If a team reaches minus 200 they lose that game, but all 3 matches
must be played. With each win a team will be rewarded 3 league points, if all 3 games are won by the same team 10
points are rewarded. If playing on League Night results must be reported in the Lobby of the designated League Room.
If teams opt to play prior to League Night BOTH Teams MUST report results via email to: zonespades@hotmail.com.
Include your names, Division and team number please.
All communication devices MUST be turned off, except for Zone Message, which must be on "Do Not Disturb." Each
match will consist of 3 complete games as described above. Teams that drop out of the League before completion of
their obligated 7 matches, will not be permitted to sign up for future League Play, unless an email is sent to the Directors
with a reasonable cause. This Tournament will be played in accordance with Gaming Zone Terms and Conditions set
out at http://www.zone.com. Each pair of Teams will compete against each other in the game environment provided.
The winner of the Tournament will be the Team has competed in or has advanced in the manner provided by these rules.

9 pm Eastern. Teams may meet and play prior to League night but both teams MUST email results in prior to Start
of the Designated Match dates to zonespades@hotmail.com. When playing on League Night you must be present
and start play by 6:10 pm Pacific or forfeit your match (3 games). One sub player will be permitted as long as one
orignal player is present. All Matches must be played in the Spotlight Tournament Rooms. Playoffs will be
one Full games single elimination.
