La tour Eiffel: le monument symbol de Paris. Realisée de 1887 à 1889 par l’ingénieur Eugene Eiffel elle fut présentée à l’exposition universelle de 1889. Véritable prouesse technique, la tour mesure 320,75 m avec son antenne radiotélévision et pèse 6 400 tonnes. Divisée en trois étages la tour Eiffel dispose de boutiques et restaurants et offre un panorama splendide sur Paris et ses environs.
The Eiffel Tower: the monument symbolizing Paris. Built in two years, the tower was the most important monument of the 1889 World fair. Recognized as the masterpiece of Mr Eiffel, the tower is more than 1 000 feet high and weighs 6 400 tons. The Eiffel tower has three floors with shops, restaurants and from the top you can get a superb view.
