I was about to work on T&R, when I had this urge to draw Tei (I haven't drawn him in ages! T_T). Anyway, it's a rather dark pic, and I'm not too happy about Tei's face, but I like it overall. It's funny how Tei pinups are almost always done impulsively (and I wonder what he wants to write...) Hehe...I always wanted to draw a picture that went with this one song, and now I have it. I would have posted an mp3 file for you to hear, but alas, Xoom doesn't allow mp3's. Ah well, that's okay right? ^^; So moving right along, I think I like watercoloring without inking better -- for one thing, water slightly smudges the lines and the illustration look more natural without inked lines. If you look carefully, you'll notice that all the stuff on the desk are not inked. Doesn't it look cooler without those big thick outlines? :)
I drew this for a friend of mine (something I've been meaning to do since uh...winter quarter of last school year ^^;;;;;;) It's a random girl opening an umbrella. Why did I draw someone opening an umbrella? I dunno...it sounded like a good idea at the time. I actually had to keep my umbrella halfway open while I drew this pic (I hope it's not broken from all the strain ^^;) I'm debating what to draw for the background, but now I'm sorta tempted to just leave the background blank. ^^;
Um...no, that's not a dinosaur in the thumbnail. ^^;;; Silver Dragon reached 10K hits so I doodled her this (actually it doesn't have anything to do with 10K hits but...that's okay cuz the caption says so ^^:;;;;;) Hmmm...what can I say besides that Forcekill looks like a dino...um...Kross sorta looks like one of those googly-eyed fish. ^^; I also forgot Sharpshot's tattoo and Kenny looks awfully like Riki in here. I guess it's those SD Riki eyes and the horribly feminine pose. ^^; Well this picture is really silly and unnecessarily violent so click with caution. ^^;;;;
I noticed that I didn't have a single pin-up of Sophia so I just doodled this pic. You know, working with markers on a drawing done on regular laser paper can be a pain. Ah well, this pic actually took a lot longer than I had anticipated cuz I kept messing up on her hair. Hehehe....her hair looks wet, not to mention it's all over the place. Wait a minute...wet tangled hair...that's MY hair! Oo;;;; Well, it would be nice if my hair were this nice and long...alright, I'm rambling again. ^^;;;;;
Coloring a pencil pic is a pain unless you're using watercolors or some other medium that won't rub away the lines. Apparently, colored pencil is not a good choice to use on a drawing done with a 2B pencil. Plus I should have cleaned up the drawing before but...it was done quickly and I was in a rush. Anyway, bottom line is that this is a messy, sketchy drawing with a horrible 5-minute coloring job. ^^; It's also not my usual "warm and fuzzy" type illustration. Hell, it's dead week so I'm not exactly all that peppy. Oh yeah, for those of you who don't recognize the characters, they're Kenny and Scott from Mission Trance. Hmmm...I seem to be on a MT fanart streak...and Kenny has some tiny waist. And I sound really incoherent right now...stupid writer's block. ><
This is a doodle done during a physics class in an attempt to stay awake. It's also a gift for Silver Dragon...yeah, giving a doodle as a gift is rude. XD If I had drawn the picture on nicer paper (this is actually done on the corner of notebook paper ^^;;) I would have inked and colored it, but eh...it didn't seem worth the time and effort so I just inverted the image instead. Here's the original scan if you care to look. ^^ I should fix Sharpshot's right arm -- it's twisted. O_o;;;;;
You know, this is the first screentoned illustration I've done since...well...the first time I learned how to use them. Weird...so very very weird...Anywho, it was interesting to do a b/w illustration. For those of you who don't recognize the painting in the background, that's Van Gogh. Why did I draw Van Gogh? Well...I was looking around my room for something to draw in that poster when I saw the tin postcard that my sister and I bought at the Van Gogh exhibit last April. In other words, there's no hidden meaning behind it (but you can analyze it anyway you'd like -- I mean, it's all up to you ^^) And by the way, the scanning's sorta bad for this pic cuz there's a little more contrast in the original. Errr...don't like scanners. >:(
Yup, it's the pic I posted a while back in the Behind the Scenes page. I woke up one morning with this urge to CG, and I saw the pic lying on top of my scanner so I thought "why not?" It's not a clean drawing nor a nice CG (what do you expect? I finished it in record time ^^;) but it was sorta cool doing a CG again. ^_^
*cough cough* My first attempt at drawing a nonhappy illustration since...I don't know when. ^^; Anyway, for those of you who are confused, this isn't Riki -- it's actually Forcekill from Silver Dragon's manga "Mission Trance" Dah, I didn't even realize that it looks like Riki til someone pointed it out to me (although I still have trouble seeing the resemblance ^^;) Weird...and disturbing...But anyway, I drew this pic when I should have done something else. Drawing and thinking "dah! I should be working!" is not a pleasant experience. ^^;;; I always get the strongest urge to draw when I'm stressed. Well, this pic's not the greatest. I worked on it for a pretty long time (coloring took forever) but now that I look at it, it's just like "eh...." Ah well, maybe I should do my work when I'm supposed to....

If you're wondering "what the hell is that?" while looking at the thumbnail, don't be alarmed -- it's just Seuss. Hadley's site finally reached 10K hits so I drew this for her one night. Now that I look at it, Rolo's pose is oddly boy bandish *shudders* and I wish I hadn't washed Seuss's clothes. Ah well, it's all good since Hadley liked it. ^_^ |
