Wow, my first marker picture in um...I don't even remember when. In fact, I haven't done any colored illustrations in a while (except for quick CGs, which don't count) Anywho, here's Riki and Cherry; I like how the facial expressions came out cuz they look so irritated. >:D |

I was listening to "Wherever You Will Go" by The Calling when I had an urge to draw -- the this and the picture of Tei right underneath is the result of that urge. I drew this picture in about uh...10 minutes or so, half of which was spent on the hands. Stupid hands...Anywho, I like how the hair turned out so I'm posting it for y'all to see. I didn't mean to make Riki look so young and happy, but my drawings rarely turn out the way I've envisioned it so it's all good. -_-;;;; This picture reminds me of those sinus relief comercials for some odd reason...I guess it's because the pose. I actually hate the pose because it's so effeminine, but I didn't have enough room to draw him with his arms spread apart. :P Anyway, I did a quick photoshop coloring, but I think red hair fits Riki really well, so Riki's hair will be red from now on. :D |

You know, I haven't shaded with a pencil like this (by "this" I mean smudge the lines ^^) since um...uh....1996? 97? It's really been a while. Anywho, this is a sketch of Tei. It's not all that great, but I like the way the eyes and the eyebrows turned out here. Don't ask why cuz I have no idea. ^^; Despite the fact that this picture is A LOT simpler than the one above since it's only a bust shot, it actually took a lot longer. Riki is SO much easier to draw than Tei and I'm still having trouble drawing the head that angle (tilted downwards in case you haven't noticed) because the nose tends to come out all funny and gross. ^^; And you know what else? I haven't drawn Tei happy in a long long time...how odd...I should draw him happy some time..:/ |
