I have been raising, training, and exhibiting dogs for some 26 plus years. While taking obedience classes with my sheltie I had at the time, there was a wheaten in my class which caught my eye.  I said, "Someday I am going to have one of those dogs". So started the search for a "show" dog, which led me after a very long 1 1/2 yrs to acquiring my first wheaten from Audrey, the most wonderful lady and to this date a personal friend of mine.

My 2nd wheaten I acquired was a challenge, even with hurdles I had to go through, and when finally completing her championship, was bred. I worked very hard in the process of placing all my puppies and to this day they are all in wonderful homes and living the good life.

My selection of "Evergreen" for a kennel name came after much thought. I love the color of hunter green, and I do live in Washington which is the Evergreen state, so hence the name.

I spend a great deal of time educating people on "how to choose the right dog". I find educating  people in making important steps in acquiring any dog to be quite rewarding and have been instrumental in helping many people select the breed that best suits their life style and needs. I am a firm believer in obedience training and have put titles on past breeds as well as my first wheaten.

I have done rescue for my breed, and belong to the National Club as well as being one of the pioneer members of the All Terrier Club Of  Western Washington where I have served in many capacities.

I have just acquired  an outstanding "show  male" once again from my breeder Audrey and so starts the new challenges with raising, training, showing him......
