So the next question on all of your minds is, "What the heck is happening in the Unknown lands!?!?" Well, fret not, here is the news from the frozen Steppes of the Mountains of Mourn.

A twisted steppe was to be the sight of the first terrible blood bath of this war. High Elves, led by the valliant Lord Trefethen, met defeat at the hands of a Chaos horde led by the inconjurably evil Draal the Unbleeding.

Falling back to gregroup and treat wounds, Lord Trefethen's Camp was attacked by a Waaaagh! led by Ashknog Spinebreaker. Terrible Losses were incurred on both sides, and int he end, the compassionate Elf lord ordered a retreat to end the carnage.

Sadly, in thier flight the Elf host encountered the mystical reptilian cohorts of High Preist Ixlopochtatl. The Lizardmen faught ferociously, seeking their lost plaque beneath the snow, and the Elven lines soon began to crumble. For a Thrid time, Lord Trefethen were forced to route.

Not far away, Ashknog's Waaaagh! had only begun to settle in and establish a camp, when the posesed horde of Draal the Unbleeding emerged from the darkness. The bodies piled high that day, as savage blows were rained on Orc and Devotee of Slaanesh. In the end, Draal reached into the bloody abyss and snatched a narrow victory with his mailed fist.

The armies set up camp. The Lizardmen find fuge in Hobgobbla's lament, Chaos braves the feral horror of Volkorath's Forest, the Orcs settle along the Road of Skulls, and the High Elves are chased into the Frozen Desolation.

Ashknog assaults High Priest Ixtopochtatl at Hobgobbla's lament, smashing the reptilain legion in brutal combat. After a humiliating defeat, the Toad mage is forced to flee into the Frozen Desolation along with the High Elves.

The Dwarves arrive from the south. The Prince Piron of the High Elf Host intercepts them on a patrol south near the Grand Spyre. After a brutal battle, the dwarves are driven East, and the elves are able to occupy the great obsidian spike.

Sensing thier ago old rivals, the forces of lord Draal emerge from their sylvanian roost for a battle. After a freezing march across frozen plains of battle, Draal's cold metalic fist clenched the throat of an elven archmage, as he fell limp and lifeless along with the rest of his army.
