Interview with Cassie

by Ellimist

Ellimist: Hi, Cassie. How are you doing?
Cassie: Just fine.
Ellimist: Can we ask you a few questions?
Cassie: Sure.
Ellimist: Well, first of all, you are known for being the most gentle of the group. you actually made peace with a Yeerk. What possessed you to give up your secret to a Yeerk?
Cassie: Well, I did keep up the act for as long as I could that I didn't know what she, or Aftran, was talking about. But sooner or later I'd have to give it up or end up dying so she figured it out and Finally there was peace between a Yeerk and an "Andalite".
Ellimist: Is there anything new happening in you and Jake's relationship?
Cassie: (blushes) No.
Ellimist: Your next book is #34 and in this you go to the Hork-Bajir world and you get the Ixcilia of Aldrea. Can you explain this to us?
Cassie: Well, I can't go into much detail but I end up somehow sharing a brain with Aldrea. It'll be a weird and confusing book.
Ellimist: How long have you and Rachel been friends?
Cassie: I don't know exactly, but it's been a long time.
Ellimist: In the books you work with animals a lot. What's probably your favorite animal to work with?
Cassie: I like all animals but I probably like wolves the best to work with. They're gentle and just all around fun.
Ellimist: Speaking of wolves a lot of people wonder why you have the wolf as your battle morph instead of something the others don't have. Why do you morph wolf for battles?
Cassie: Well, everyone knows how I hate violence and the wolf isn't very violent. I just like to provide distractions and I can keep running. Also we all have different types of morphs. A feline, a bear, a primate, a bird, a canine and an alien. So we have a variety of morphs.
Ellimist: People would like to see you all morph Ax to become Andalites in morph. But yet no one has. Why not?
Cassie: Well, for one how would like to fight in a room of mirrors? That's what it would feel like to Ax. And also, people want us to morph Ax so Visser Three won't be suspicious about not being Andalites. But if we were all one Andalite he would know something was definitely wrong with his "Andalite Bandits" because if we were Andalites and we wanted to be Andalites in battle we would just be ourselves and not morph another Andalite.
Ellimist: (totally confused) Uh-huh. That's right.
Ellimist: Okay, this is the last question. What's your favorite morph?
Cassie: Gotta be dolphin.
