Draft Abstract of title of Mr. William LATIMER to 1&2 Bertha Villas, Queen Bertha's Street, St. Laurence, near Ramsgate, Kent.

 

William LATIMER, Gent'. Of Ramsgate, was contracting to sell the above properties to Mr. John CHASE. The document confirmed that on the 24th August, 1866 that William LATIMER and Robert SANKEY, Gent' of the City of Canterbury purchased 1 & 2 Bertha Villas from Fenner Ludd FLINT, Gent' of Margate Kent and Alfred WADE, builder of Ramsgate. The total price was £850, of which £500 was paid to William LATIMER.

Draft Abstract of title of Mr. Joseph SMITH to freehold land, stables, coach houses & buildings now known as The Albert Mews in Ramsgate Kent contacted to be sold to Mr. Charles PEARCE. 8/11/1876.

 

24&25th April 1840. Parties concerned, Jeremiah SACKETT, of Ramsgate, Kent, tailor agreed to sell to Charles SMITH of Ramsgate, poulterer and horse keeper and George HINDS the above land. The document quotes Indres of 29&30th.March where Christopher Lindin HOOPER Richard JENKINS, conveyed the land and buildings to Jeremiah SACKETT for £1,330.

A precise of the land concerned. At the Back of Harbour Street and between that Street and York Street, a piece of Land 168 ft 8 inches on the S W side, 174 ft 3 inches on N E side, 89ft 1 inch on N W side and 51 ft 6inches on the S E side. The land contained a slaughterhouse and buildings some deserted. Stables and houses, yards, garden and ground occupied by John LANCEFIELD, Butcher and later his widow, Elizabeth and by Henry WHITE.

4th&5th May, 1840. An Indre between Charles SMITH and Henry BENSON of Ramsgate. Charles Smith borrowed £1000 against the properties and land and on security of 'herds' from Henry BENSON.

9th October 1868. Joseph SMITH of Dover, Poulterer, repaid the £1000 to Henry BENSON.

6th August 1788. Articles of agreement between John NETHERSELL 1st part. Elizabeth COOPER, 2nd part. Richard TOMSON the Younger, 3rd part.

26th September 1792. Indre between John NETHERSELL and his wife Elizabeth and Richard TOMSON the Younger. 27th September 1792. Indre between John NETHERSELL and his wife Elizabeth and Edward FOSTER.

Hilary Term, 35th George 3rd (35th year of the reign of George 3rd). "Copy of Chirographer's Indre of Fine between Edward FOSTER and John NETHERSELL the younger and Elizabeth his wife. Also William DUCKETT and Mary his wife; Roger FOORD and Sarah his wife; Thomas DOMMEY and Elizabeth his wife; John HORN and Hannah his wife; George DOUGHTY and Sarah his wife; Joseph QUESTED and Elizabeth his wife."
