15 November 1873. Conveyance between The British Land Company Limited of 14 Moorgate Street, London and William WARREN of number 1 Shane John Villas, Grange Road, Ramsgate, Gent'. William WARREN paid £75.00 for lot 17. It was part of an estate offered for sale at auction on the 5^th March 1867 in 34 lots. The Auctioneer was Mr. WHITTINGHAM and took place at the Royal Hotel Ramsgate.

He paid £150.00 for two lots, 61 and 62 part of an estate offered for sale at auction on the 5^th March 1867. The Auctioneer was Mr. WHITTINGHAM and took place at the Royal Hotel Ramsgate ( these lots were near to the other lot purchased .by William Warren.) Other restriction applied. Houses to be erected on the plots had to cost £150 to build. Only specified lots could have an Inn or business built on them.
