Ever wonder why whenever Tamahome and Miaka hug, they most times get naked?
It's a question that all of us have asked one time or another. Some of us would say it's mellow-dramatic, others would say that Yu Wataste is a real pervert, but we don't really know why.
Well, the truth is coming out, the real reason of this hentai-ish phenonemon is hidden with Tamahome. In episode 25 of the first OAV of Fushigi Yuugi, we witness Taiitsu-kun giving each sieshi member a gift. Nuriko bracelets, chiriko a scroll, etc., etc....
In this episode it appears that Tamahome isn't given anything for calling Taiitsu-kun an "old fart". Later it shows that Tamahome was really given more power, uh...but that's not all. It turns out that along with this more "power", Taiitsu-kun had given Tamahome the power to strip himself and Miaka whenever they hug. This makes the two lovers happy, and makes Taiitsu-kun and Yu Wataste perverts. And even though Tamahome and Miaka have a few quarrels, Tamahome always seems to want to hug Miaka for this particular reason. Which in other words, makes Tamahome a horney pervert.
