The Good
Well, these are Priest's best in my opinion.  The remastered tracks are a little louder than the original cd, and I have read that some of the guitar tracks are reversed, but that seems to be the only difference in them.  Oh wait, the track order for British Steel is supposedly back to what the original album had.  What you really want to know about are the bonus tracks though, right?  The live songs are nice although there is some dispute as to where and when they were really recorded.  Of the studio tracks, Thunder Road  (on Point of Entry) is the best.  The other three are just ok.  You know, take it or leave it.  Still, I wanted to fill the holes in my JP collection, so I figured I would get some of these.  But then I also figured I should have the complete set, so I ended up replacing a few I already had.

The Bad
The bonus tracks are nice to have, but seem to distract from the album as a whole.  I would have rather had them all on a separate cd.

The Packaging
The booklets now include lyrics and new pictures.  They also have a short paragraph about the recording of the album.  Very nice.

Bottom Line
If you don't already have them, go get them.  If you are a die hard Priest fan or a collector, you should get them also.
