The Good
Well the song selection is excellent. You get old Judas Priest, Fight
and of course the current Halford songs. The Priest songs played on their
2000 tour were a bit of a surprise too. Sure they played Breaking the
Law and Electric Eye, but they also went all the way back to the
first Priest album and pulled our Tyrant and Genocide. The
three studio tracks included are a new Halford song, Screaming In the Dark,
and two old Judas Priest demos.
The Bad
Studio magic. Not what you want to read about a live album. A
few of the songs here were recorded at sound check or on an off day and added in
with "studio magic".
The Packaging
The book has all the tour dates listed as well as a nice selection of
pictures taken on the road.
Bottom Line
Really a must have for a fan of Rob Halford. The old Judas Priest songs
are a treat and the songs from his current band prove that Rob can still be
called the Metal God. I would probably rate it higher but I can't get past
the "studio magic" thing.
