The Good
This is a very good release. F&J are one of my favorites so I may
be a little biased, but I still say it is much better than their last release,
1999's Unnatural Selection. Dig Me Up to Bury Me and Learn to
Dance are my favorites here and the instrumental I.A.M.H. has a cool
groove as well.
The Bad
The album ends with a hidden acoustic version of Trash that
really has no place here. But by far the worst thing about this is that
Eric AK decided to leave the band right before the tour was supposed to
start. He was replaced for the tour, but how do you replace one of the
most unique voices in metal?
The Packaging
Blah, blah, blah. Lyrics and a thank list. The cover is
a skeleton in the desert. Nothing too exciting here.
Bottom Line
A pretty solid release from one of my favorite bands. But then again,
nothing stands out as either too fabulous or bad. Too bad Erik AK has
decided to leave.
