The Transmissions
Nissan have introduced a new manual-shift type 4-speed automatic gearbox, which has both an extra gate on the normal shifter and control buttons on either side of the steering wheel. Code named the M-ATx, it is only avaliable on 2.5 and 2.5 turbo RWD models. The 2.0 RWD and the 4WD models can only get the normal 4-speed automatic, code named E-ATx. The 5-speed manual gaerbox (5MT) remains the same.
