The Vampire This is the one that really started it all.A young woman(Marta) is called back to her family home (The Sycamores) after her Aunt Mary's death.She is to decide along with her uncle and another aunt if they should sell their home to Count Duval.

Marta is accompanied by a stranger she met on the train(Henry) to her home .We meet her uncle, her other aunt Eloise and the neighbor Count Duval.   The plot thickens as we discover that Aunt Mary really isn't dead.She was poisoned by Eloise who has already fallen under the Count's vampiric spell.Duval wants the Sycamores as his brother is buried on the grounds.He also wants to sink his fangs into Marta. Henry is not what he appears to be either.He is a doctor who has been summoned by Marta's uncle to ferret out the strangeness surrounding the Sycamores. The Count abducts Marta and takes her to his lair in the catacombs.Aunt Mary and Henry square off against Eloise and Count Duval in a fight for Marta's life.Who will win? This is THE classic Mexican vampire movie.We have a fog shrouded country estate, a forboding forest, a suave tuxedoed vampire and his hot looking evil assistant.Not to mention fangs, bats and a real air of miasma about this film.See it if you can.
