| I Will Always Be There For You! 6 months have passed... 3 more to go... And I am ready to bring you into this world. So many things yet not fixed, but i'll make sure to do them soon. Now I'm just making sure, that I'm only concentrating on you. I wont lie, I'm scared to death, because I have to do this on my own, But we will somehow get through it, and I promise to always do my best. Just you and me. When you are born and you open your eyes for the first time I want to be the first that you look at, Then I want you to see the people around you, that love you. And when you take that first feeding, I am going to be right there feeding you, Scared and nervous... but there. When you get that first tooth, I will be there with you through all of the tears. And when you say your first word, I will be right beside you to praise you. And when you start to walk, I will be beside you to catch you when you fall. when you go to school for the first time, I will try not to cry, I will pack your lunch and kiss you good-bye. And when you graduate from middle school I promise to not embarass you, because I know what that feels like. I promise to be the cool mom, and not fight with you over your music. Ill buy you clothes that you actually like, not the ones you throw at the back of your closet! When high school comes around and you fall in love, I promise to try and be as understadable as I can. But when I need to talk to you about things, oh trust me I will! And when the first girl breaks your heart, I will be beside you... more than willing to break her neck :) When you go to a party and have too much to drink. I want you to be able to call me for a ride home, not be scared. And when you go off to college I will be right there, helping you out as much as I can. And when you get married I will be the one to let you go. But most of all I will be the ONE person in your life that will ALWAYS be there for you, and never leave you! Through the fights and happy times, I want you to still be able to come to me, and share things with me. No Matter what I am your mom. And I will always be there for you.... others may walk away in your life... but they don't know what they will be missing! . Patti Joyce |
