“Master Joshua,” replied Kate in surprise but with a gentle smile on her face. Kate had been a servant of Chris’ for ten years now and like any of Chris’ Lambs that have been around that long, she loved and respected Josh. “How was your vacation? I didn’t think that you and Master Bass would be back so soon.”
“We thought about staying longer but something came up,” replied Josh with a mysterious smile and Kate knew not to press the subject. Josh would tell her if he wanted to and right now he wasn’t giving up any secrets. “I’m just here to pick up Geek, then I have to be on my way. A buyer is interested in one of my paintings and I’m meeting Lance later so I can’t stay around.”
“Master Chris will be disappointed,” informed Kate as she led him into the living room. “He was looking forward to seeing you since you haven’t been around lately.”
“We’ll stop by sometime tomorrow then,” replied Josh with a smile as he sat down on the couch. “Or tell him he can come by our place any time he wants.”
“I will Master Joshua,” nodded Kate. “You can wait here while I go find Geek.”
“Thank you,” smiled Josh as Kate wandered out of the room on her quest to find Geek.
In the kitchen was where Kate found Geek with Chris’ newest Lamb, Justin. Justin was amazed with Geek and spent the entire last three days with the little robot.
“Say good-bye to Geek, Justin,” spoke Kate gently. “Master Joshua is here to pick him up.”
“Master Joshua?” squeaked Geek, happily as he began rolling towards the door.
“He doesn’t even miss me,” sighed Justin sadly.
“Cheer up Justin,” replied Kate softly, seeing the sad look on the young Lamb’s face. “He’s just happy to be reunited with his masters right now.”
“At least one of us has a home to go too,” whispered Justin as he watched Kate follow Geek out of the room.
“Master!” cried Geek, rolling into the living room with Kate quickly following behind him.
“Geek!” cried Josh, dropping to his knees to he could give Geek a hug. “I missed you Geeky.”
“Home?” asked Geek, hopefully as Josh stood back up.
“What you don’t like living with Chris?” teased Josh, petting Geek on his head.
“Home!” demanded the little robot.
“You’re spending the day with me Geek,” informed Josh with a smile, knowing that the robot would like that. “We’ll go home later.”
“Good!” replied Geek rolling towards the door.
“Good-bye Master Joshua,” smiled Kate watching their interaction with amusement.
“Bye Kate,” chuckled Josh as he rushed to catch up with the little robot.

An hour later Geek was busy helping Josh in the small art shop that he owned which was conveniently next door to the music shop he owned.
“Break!” complained Geek as he carried one of Josh’s paintings for a customer who was buying it.
“No break!” chuckled Josh as he chatted with the buyer of the painting. The buyer was a long time customer of Josh’s paintings.
“Cute robot,” smiled the buyer.
“Yeah,” nodded Josh in the agreement before continuing their prior conversation. Josh was so busy talking to the customer that he didn’t notice when the door to the shop slid open and a new customer walked in.
“Master!” cried Geek happily and Joshua assumed that Geek was referring to himself.
“Hey Geek,” smiled Lance patting Geek on the head. “Did you have a nice time at Chris’?”
“Master Chris has a new Lamb,” informed Geek happily. “He was nice to me.”
“All Lambs are,” smiled Lance, giving Geek another pat, before moving off seeing that his husband was now finished talking to the buyer.
“Hey,” whispered Lance walking up behind Josh and wrapping his arms around his body.
“Hi,” smiled Josh leaning back into the embrace.
“Ready to go?” asked Lance, kissing the back of Josh’s neck. “Stacy is meeting us at the clinic in about fifteen minutes.”
“Yep,” nodded Josh, reluctantly pulling out of the embrace.
Twenty minutes later, Josh, Lance and Stacy were entering the doctor’s office for their first appointment.
“So Mr. Chasez and Ms Bass are in-laws?” asked the doctor.
“That’s right Doctor,” nodded Stacy. “I will be providing the egg and carrying the baby while JC will be providing the sperm.”
“Very well,” replied the doctor, while pressing a button and a nurse walked in the room. “If Mr. Chasez and Mr. Bass go with my assistant we’ll get a sperm sample from Mr. Chasez, while I examine Ms Bass and informed her of what we will be doing. If Ms Bass still then wishes to participate then we can either go ahead today or reschedule for a later date.”
“Alright,” nodded Lance standing up from his seat and giving Stacy a hug before following Josh out of the room.
“Shall I begin with the examination Ms Bass?” asked the doctor when they were alone.
“Yes doctor,” nodded Stacy. “But whatever you tell me, I want you to know that unless this will be harmful to my health I plan on following through, the sooner the better.”
“I understand,” smiled the doctor reassuringly.

“What do you think is happening in there?” asked Josh concerned. They had been waiting for an hour and a half now, yet still they hadn’t seen any sign of Stacy since they had been separated from her.
“I don’t know,” shrugged Lance, trying not to show concern for his sister. “Maybe she decided to go through with it today?”
“We can hope,” replied Josh, giving his husband a gentle smile.
“There you are!” announced a voice and both Josh and Lance looked up to find the doctor walking towards them with a smile on his face. “Ms Bass is resting comfortably right now,” informed the doctor. “She decided she wanted to be impregnated as soon as possible so we went through with the operation. She should be ready to leave in a half hour to an hour but she needs to rest these next few days.”
“She’ll be staying with us,” informed Josh quickly. “We’ll make sure she is well rested and taken care of.”
“Good,” nodded the doctor. “I’ve already scheduled a follow up appointment in two weeks. By then we will be able to tell whether it worked or not, but I assure you that nine times out of ten while impregnating women it usually is successful the first time.”
“Thank you doctor,” replied Lance softly. “You don’t know what this means to us.”
“You’re welcome,” smiled the doctor before launching into a list of things that they are suppose to do to keep Stacy clam and rested throughout the next two weeks and the side-affects that she may experience from the operation and the medication they were putting her on. By the time the doctor was finished giving them the list of dos and don’ts, Stacy was ready to be released from the clinic.
“How do you feel?” asked Lance concerned as he helped Stacy to their vehicle.
“A little sore but good,” smiled Stacy in response. “I think I could use about twenty hours of sleep though.”
“We’ll be home soon,” reassured Josh as he started driving back to their home.
